Ghost is a new blogging platform that looks great, was funded via KickStarter, is run by a non-profit organisation and is completely open source (MIT license).
So I thought I'd take it for a test drive.
First, I registered a new domain and then I created a new Digital Ocean droplet, followed by some essential server hardening before installing Ghost.
Then, I secured the Ghost admin interface, installed a couple of free themes and now my new blog is up and running.
